What’s up my friends?!
Today, Gabriel and I hit the slopes at the Mount Baker Ski Area in Washington State. We nailed a perfect bluebird day – we couldn’t have had any better conditions! The mountain was not very crowded and the lift lines were always quick!
I think the scenery that was visible from the top of the lifts on this day were some of the clearest and most beautiful views that I’ve seen at a ski area in Washington. The clarity of Mt Shuksan was so insane that we could clearly see individual skiers hiking up the ridge, easily over 2 miles away.
One more thing I want to touch on from this video is the North Fork Brewery & Pizzeria. This place is hands-down my favorite place to eat on the way to/from the Mt Baker area. I go there in the spring/summer time to drive all the way up to artist’s point and take in the alpine air. I go there in the fall to see the wonderful colors that envelop parts of the landscape all along the way. I go there in the winter time to enjoy some of the best skiing that WA has to offer (not to mention at a somewhat reasonable price.. *cough* Stevens Pass *cough*).
I will keep going to this mountain for years to come and I may even consider getting a 22-23 season pass!
